From start to finish Lisa and Hersey went above and beyond for us. The planning stage felt so easy and Lisa kept in great contact helping with any questions. She prepared a beautiful ceremony for us, making it so personal and was always happy to make any tweaks we had. On the day of the ceremony Lisa made sure everyone and everything was in place, she took great care of me, keeping my dress, veil etc in check for photos and was just wonderful. My wife & I couldn't be more happy that we chose Hersey to marry us! From our first discussion with Hersey, his professionalism and friendliness put us at ease. He genuinely cared about what we wanted in our ceremony; and that he was truly there just for us. We had him attend the rehearsal where he answered all of our questions about where we should be when, what finger to put the ring on, etc. The best part was that he really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted for the day, and tailor made the ceremony just for us.

"Eric was one of the hightlights of our small wedding. It was important to us to have a meaningful but non-denominational ceremony and Eric happily worked with us to make that happen. When speaking at the wedding, he had a pleasantly appropriate mix of professionalism and warmth, bringing everyone together. We had a funny moment where we realized that nobody brought the rings, but the three of us just laughed and made the best of it -- it ended up being so funny and memorable for everyone! Eric helped set us up with a strong path forward, and eight years later we have only fond memories of that day."

Hersey Forehand was instrumental in making our wedding day so special. Our ceremony was rather unconventional in that there were technically no guests and we had a 1.2 km hike to the special spot we had selected for our ceremony in the mountains of North Carolina. Our plan was to find a hiker on the trail that could serve as an official witness and with Hersey's knowledge we were assured that would meet the local requirements of our state. As hoped, we found a couple of hikers that were happy to participate. One hiker commented that she never takes tissues with her on the trail but for some reason she put a pack in her pocket that morning. She used them to dab away tears during our beautiful ceremony. The ceremony was custom made by Hersey. He shared with his recommendations and, other than a couple of minor details we wanted added in, we didn't change a thing. A well curated ceremony that included sonnets by Shakespeare as well as a very touching Yupik poem that can bring tears to my eyes 18 years later. The ceremony was well timed - not too long and not too short. When I finally kissed my bride we heard the sound of applause from the overlook above. It was a memorable day not only for us but surely a great story shared by the hikers that happened upon our wedding that day in the mountains.

Hersey was the only person we wanted to officiate our wedding! We didn't give much direction, except that we wanted something meaningful and simple. Hersey went above and beyond to personalize his speech to describe us perfectly and made us feel like we were the only two people in the room! He was easy to work with and his calm demeanor helped soothe all the wedding day jitters. He was dressed to impress and maintained a professional attitude throughout the process. We couldn't be happier with our experience working with such a genuine person. Hersey was there to make our special day memorable and we will forever cherish the memories made.

Eric is kind, thoughtful, charismatic, and someone who we immediately found to be easy to talk to and a pleasure to get to know. Communication throughout the process was perfectly smooth and he is a professional in every sense of the word, although working with him felt less like a transaction and much more like a budding friendship. Perhaps most importantly, most impressive to us, was how Eric respected our personal beliefs and helped us navigate how best to incorporate those beliefs into personalized vows that truly meant something to us and to our friends and family in attendance. From the early stages of planning, it quickly became clear that Eric was committed to getting to know us and our story so that he could help make our wedding a meaningful event, one that was true to who we are individually and as a couple. He accomplished that and more and brought a grace and charm to our ceremony that we will never forget.
